Accounting Office Assistant
Prepare entries to general ledger accounts while documenting business transactions.
Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize company financial position for managers.
Pay bills on a monthly basis
Preparing and making bank deposits
Assist in tax reporting and preparing tax returns
Perform account reconciliations.
Ensure all financial deadlines are met.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Assist with Human Resources
Provide back-up for answering calls. Assist customers and schedule appointments.
Accounting experience required
Experience using QuickBooks required, including billing and payroll functions
Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong computer skills
