We are hiring for an Administrative Program Coordinator for one of the government offices in Austin. This is a contract assignment that starts immediately and will last a minimum of two months with the possibility of temp-to-perm for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of administrative/project management experience (legal experience is a plus). This opportunity will offer a wage rate of $17.00-$18.75/hr. plus an optional health insurance plan. We pay our employees every Monday night and don't hold a week-in-the-hole. This role will involve frequent interaction with volunteers, section members, the public and organizations affiliated with this company.
- Works directly with leadership to produce promotional pieces, manage all aspects of registration and online shopping carts.
-Compile and distribute electronic course materials
-Coordinate food, beverage and audio/visual needs for meetings
-Create, edit and distribute EBlast communication and marketing pieces to membership
-Order awards for leadership
-Provide administrative, purchasing, accounting/bookkeeping and database support
-Five-(5)+years of administrative experience
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Exceptional editing and proofing skills
-Multi-tasker and time manager in a high pressure environment
-Strong prioritization skills required
-Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Professional Suite Database and Outlook
