Are you seeking an Administrative opportunity with a stable company? If so, we may have the perfect position for you! We are hiring for an Administrative Assistant to provide sales support for a company located in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of Administrative Assistant support preferably have also provided sales support. The ideal candidate will possess above average people and communication skills. Additionally, you must be outgoing, professional and extremely well organized and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time in a fast paced environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that starts at $38-$42k and offers excellent benefits. We pay our employees every Monday night and don't hold a week-in-the-hole. Additionally, we offer a life, health, dental, vision and disability insurance benefit.

Responsibilities:
- Working with Sales team inputting new orders they receive
- Processing necessary paper work for new orders
- Taking new orders from customers over the telephone or via email
- Communicating with customers regarding order status
- Making decisions regarding orders - i.e. best way to ship products
- Discussing past due payments with customers
- Preparing proposals at times
- Communicating with Corporate office regarding orders
- Working with 25-30 orders at a time

Skills Required
- 5-10 years of related experience
- High School Diploma - some college is preferred
- Proficient with MS Office (min 40 wpm typing)
- Very detailed - orders must be inputted and followed through with great accuracy
- Outgoing Personality
- Assertive
- Self Motivated
- Team Player
- Great Judgment
- Experience with Microsoft Epicor is a plus.
