Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the purchasing department
  • Maintain / update vendor quotes and special pricing agreements
  • Maintain vendor contact info and all purchasing info on vendor pages
  • Set-up new vendors in computer system
  • Reconcile credit card statement each month
  • Provide documentation to vendors as requested
  • Learn about purchasing process and eventually assist with buying

Qualifications
  • Three or more years of administrative experience required. Prior purchasing experience or admin support in purchasing/buying preferred.
  • Strong in Microsoft offices
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
