Job Description: The Customer Service Associate is an organized, detail oriented, motivated employee to provide excellent customer service to our clients and administrative support for a busy marina in Merritt Island, FL. The ideal candidate is smart and confident, with a great work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving who excels at multi-tasking in a high volume, fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.

Location: Merritt Island, FL

Number of Openings: 1

Starting Pay Rate: $10-12/HR DOE

Hours: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, working morning (8:00am to 4:30pm) and closing (10:00am to 6:30pm) shifts.

Type: This is a Contract to Hire Permanent Position.

Customer Service Associate Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and email inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Provide customer service to a diverse customer base, in person, and over the phone
  • Enter customer and vessel information accurately in the database.
  • Initiate, update and maintain work orders and storage contracts.
  • Prepare billing reports and invoices for boat repair projects of varying size and duration.
  • Provide administrative support including all general office tasks, updating Excel spreadsheets, data entry, assistance with estimating, correspondence and customer follow-up.

Customer Service Associate Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency with computers and Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in marine industries and/or boat knowledge a plus, but not essential.
