ADMINISTRATIVE SALES ASSISTANT

We are recruiting for an Administrative Sales Assistant for a firm located in Addison, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a well establish company that has been in business for over twenty-years.

WHAT WE WANT:

  • Min. 3-6 yrs. of Admin. Sales Assistant or Coordinator experience in a corporate sales environment

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with PowerPoint and/or In-Design is a plus

  • Highly detailed individual with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Must possess great organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience in collaborating with teams through all phases of projects

  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 5-day work week (Mon-Fri)

  • Some overtime when required

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow-up sales emails to customer

  • Assist with the creation of proposals

  • Greet visitors in the showroom who require assistance

  • Assist in meeting preparation

  • Assist with obtaining quotes for manufacturers

  • Assist with preparation and organization of bid responses

  • Assist with project documentation; filing, scanning and uploading documents to online system and shared network

• Assist with processing Purchase Orders, deposits, order acknowledgements etc.

• Pull finish samples and cut sheets for client presentations

• Assist with customer service issues

• Marketing assistance – event coordination + prep

• Preparing presentations – using Excel, PowerPoint, and In-design

• Vendor communications

• Delivery samples and or material to both customers and vendors

• Support field sales

• Expense Report

• Manage and complete office To Do List

• General Office support – answering phone, kitchen + supply support etc.
