Under the direction of the Plant Manager and with dotted line responsibility to WW PAS CI Leader, the Manager, Continuous Improvement will lead the development and execution of the annual site CI plan/budget, support Division Enterprise initiatives in the plant, and facilitate/deploy all of the assigned CI initiatives within the plant.
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of all Cost-to-Win activities at the Site.
Responsible for working with and collaborating with other CI Managers and plants outside of their home base site as needed for continuous improvement.
Responsible for working directly with other Plant Business Unit and Functional Managers to insure that CI Budgetary and Project Goals are achieved on schedule.
Serving as primary Coordinator for the administration of the Site's Lean, Process Optimization, and Six Sigma Programs and the ESC (Executive Steering Committee).
Responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic plan for continuous improvement of the value streams for each of the plants primary product manufacturing processes and ensuring that they are optimized from a throughput and waste (OEE) perspective.
Responsible for the oversight, development, training, implementing, and sustaining of the plant s Lean Culture including 20 Keys, 5S, Visual Controls, Standard Work, Kaizen systems, and Strategy Deployment A3s.
Working with plant engineering and Corporate MPT Engineering Managers, plans, schedules, organizes and delegates Cost-to-Win project activities. Sets goals, establishes priorities and coordinates project resources in the development of concepts and approaches and then reviews progress/results and reports them to plant management.
Collaborates with Engineering/Manufacturing and other functional departments to generate cost savings project lists. Proactively leads multiple teams to the desired results. Prioritizes cost savings projects. Manages to savings and timeline completion.
Coordinates with R&D and Unit Quality as necessary on Cost-to-Win (CI and Lean Enterprise Initiatives) projects to manage the ACR and GPDS processes, including evaluation of and improvements to those processes. Proficiently oversees the ECO process for assigned projects.
Ensures regulatory compliance of Cost-to-Win projects by collaborating with the applicable groups. Complies with all local state, federal and safety regulations, policies and procedures including HCRA Hazardous Waste regulations. Complies with all local quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.

Education
BA or BS degree required.
Degree in Engineering or Science based discipline preferred but not mandatory.
Combinations of experience and/or education will also be taken into consideration.
Must have knowledge of Lean concepts, Six Sigma methodology, and Medical Devices validations processes.
Must have knowledge of project management concepts and processes.
Experience & Required Skills
Strong business and financial acumen required.
10+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume regulated industry.
