TRC Staffing Services is looking to bring on a group of outstanding Inbound Utilities Service Agents. Agents will be assisting customers with concerns regarding their utilities bill/services. This is an account for a major utilities service provider - with calls coming from the New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Texas areas.

This is an entry level position that works in a high performance, customer-focused team environment and is responsible for a number of customer-oriented tasks in a call center environment. Agents need to be equipped to handle sometimes stressful calls relating to pertinent services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer open/close requests
  • Customer inquiries
  • Requests for account information
  • Coordinating service requests
  • Determining the most effective resolution to customer service issues and maintaining customer service accounts
  • Seeking resolution on customer complaints
  • Reporting of electric and gas emergencies and outages

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Motivated and Team-Player attitude
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
