TRC Staffing Services is looking to bring on a group of outstanding Inbound Utilities Service Agents. Agents will be assisting customers with concerns regarding their utilities bill/services. This is an account for a major utilities service provider - with calls coming from the New York City and Albany area.
This is an entry level position that works in a high performance, customer-focused team environment and is responsible for a number of customer-oriented tasks in a call center environment. Pay while in training is $9.75/hr, after training, pay increases to $10.25, with the chance for performance-based bonuses and increases. Agents need to be equipped to handle sometimes stressful calls relating to pertinent services. These responsibilities include:
-Responding to customer open/close requests
-Requests for account information
-Coordinating service requests
-Determining the most effective resolution to customer service issues and maintaining customer service accounts
-Seeking resolution on customer complaints
-Reporting of electric and gas emergencies and outages

What this role offers:
Full Time, Monday - Friday Hours between the hours of 8a-9p (storm-crisis mode can occasionally require hours outside of this bracket)

Our Ideal Candidate:
High School Diploma/GED
1+ year of exceptional customer service experience
Must have basic computer skills/typing ability
Aptitude to quickly learn and navigate new technology systems
Stable work history with track record of success
A Friendly and professional attitude with the ability to build rapport with people over the phone.
Willing to submit to a background and drug test within 48 hours (2 days) of hire
