Preparing legal documents such as contracts and correspondence of a legal nature.
Performs various other clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, taking dictation, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading and routing incoming mail, maintaining files and other records, scanning and photocopying materials, maintaining client information and keeping current with attorney's existing work for clients, time entry and billing, and various other tasks as needed by the supervising attorneys in the practice of law.
Must type at least 65 wpm Working knowledge of Word Perfect and MS Word
Good production skills, heavy dictation
At least three references from past employers
Must have good attendance, be punctual and reliable.
Education and Experience:
Legal experience in Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning, Real Estate and Corporations
