Inventory Control Clerk - McDonough, GA

TRC Staffing is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in the McDonough area. An Inventory Control Clerk will work closely with the Inventory Control Supervisor and Operations staff in order to develop and implement inventory control to maintain extremely high levels of inventory accuracy to include: control points, audit schemes, reports and transaction tracing to accomplish this goal on an ongoing basis.

Inventory Control Clerk Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Reconciling cycle count results by resolving all DC mismatches
  • Responsible for investigating the root causes of such mismatches to prevent future occurrences
  • Performs all inventory related data file maintenance
  • Ensures all inventory reports are current and in-balance
  • Maintains WMS stock locator map
  • Processes all inventory adjustments other than “ on-the-fly” adjustments
  • Publishes reports and statistics on inventory accuracy performance against standard
  • Using WMS tools, assists space utilization optimization between pallet and case storage areas by initiating consolidation reports, system parameter changes and current status updates
  • Will spend most of time working with PC to maintain accurate inventory records in an automated environment

Inventory Control Clerk Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with processing reports and procedures in inventory related systems is required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) is required
  • Strong math skills and effective verbal and written communication skills are required

Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required
