We are hiring for a PROJECT MANAGER for a firm located in Addison. This position offers a starting salary of $55k-$65k plus excellent benefits. The PROJECT MANAGER is responsible for engaging all resources needed to achieve the project goal and deliver a successful outcome. The Project Manager primarily manages the installation process, but is an integral part of the Project Team and acts as a resource for technical logistic information.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist Design and Sales in developing detailed, functional project scope, specifications, and timeline

Functions as the primary client interface throughout the scheduling and installation phases of all projects

Arranges and leads pre-installation meetings with customers and subcontractors as needed

Establishes installation sequencing with the customer and Sales Team

Analyzes and coordinates logistical components of shipments to ensure timely delivery and seamless installation process

Schedules all crew members to ensure prompt and accurate delivery and installation

Manages all on-site activities during installation process and ensures that contracted service providers adhere to company standards for behavior and professional conduct

Provides guidance in the field to the installation team in order to troubleshoot and resolve field issues

Enforces contractual compliance

Maintains detailed project documentation pertaining to shipping, delivery, and installation

Reviews invoicing, billing, and change orders for accuracy

Manages order, delivery, and installation of any punch list items

Tracks all damaged shipments to ensure timely replacement

Desired Skills & Experience:

Minimum of five years of project management experience (construction or contract furniture dealership is preferred)

Must be proficient in interpreting contract language, reading architectural drawings, and possess a working knowledge of interior construction and building management issues

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint

Must be highly detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills

Must possess outstanding communication skills and be customer service oriented

Must possess organizational skills and flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously, as well as triage tasks and projects in the midst of changing priorities

Experience in collaborating with teams through all phases of projects, from programming through space planning and design, to help identify coordination and logistic issues and develop creative solutions

Must be able to work well under pressure while still demonstrating professionalism and integrity

Some work is required outside of standard business hours as customers needs dictate
