Summary/Objective: Assures consistent quality of raw materials and finished product, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to VEI’s policies and procedures. Maintain Stability Program, ensure client pre-shipment samples, review raw material folders, and track all manufactured retained samples.

QC Sensory/Tasting - One week a month, as needed, all blending samples are tasted by designated taste teams, where they mix, taste and log all samples necessary for line production work approval or if a sensory problem is noted.
This job operates in an office and lab environment. This role routinely uses lab equipment and standard office equipment such as, calculators, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job will frequently work on a computer.

Comprehension and expression of a level to routinely draft narrative information, compose routine correspondence on own initiative, make comprehensive notes in English. May involve a large volume of such composition.

Employee will continuously use fingers for grasping, use both hands, sit for extended periods of time, use well developed coordination simultaneously, read with attention to detail, seeing activities near and far, be able to distinguish basic colors and shades of colors, smell, use routine hearing ability.
