Position Title: Receiving Clerk
Reports To: Inventory Control Manager
Summary/Objective: The Receiving Clerk will perform various tasks, including reviewing and unloading incoming shipment, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Company policies and procedures.

Document all received items into ERP system
Follow-up with customers (internal & external)
Physically label incoming goods
Manage Internal Data
Work with Accounting to resolve disputes with vendors and freight lines
Keep all paperwork organized
Scan in receiving paperwork as needed

This job operates in a manufacturing, warehouse environment. This role routinely uses various, standard office equipment such as computers, calculators, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Essential Functions Cognitive (Reasoning)
Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, visual, or schedule form.

Make arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages.
Essential Functions Communication (Speech & Composition)
Expression of a level to communicate verbally with clients/customers and others to obtain and provide basic information in English. Able to communicate by telephone. Capable of explaining routine policies and of properly referring more complex cases.
Comprehension and expression of a level to record fairly uncomplicated information frequently such as filling in forms, logging entries and taking telephone messages.

Employee will occasionally lift up to 44 pounds and carry up to 15 pounds, walk, stand and repeatedly bend. Employee will frequently read English with attention to detail, seeing activities near and far. Employee will continuously sit for extended period of time and have routine hearing ability.

Employee will occasionally be exposed to excessive heat, cold and noise, walk on slippery or uneven walk spaces, work around machinery with moving parts, work with sharp instruments and work alone. Minimal travel required - ability to travel infrequently (i.e., annually) for activities.
