Receptionist/Admin Assistant

TRC has a fantastic client in Alpharetta, GA who has a quick opening for their front desk receptionist. The receptionist is the face of our client's organization & greets all visitors while operating the switchboard for all incoming callers. Our client is looking for an outgoing individual who has a strong desire to learn and take on whatever task is thrown their way to join their team. This role requires exceptional customer service & communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage a 7 line switchboard & direct all calls promptly to correct personnel
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to questions from callers
  • Update master calendar with absences
  • Schedule meetings & other calendar events
  • Check the fax machine and distribute faxes
  • Sign for mail/packages. Assist with mailing and shipping of packages
  • Assist customer service by closing sales orders in client's system
  • Schedule conference rooms & company vehicles

Education & Skills Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills - must be comfortable communicating with people at all levels
  • Good oral & written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail
