SHIFT SUPERVISOR -

A GREAT COMPANY IN THE LANCASTER AREA IS SEEKING A SHIFT SUPERVISOR FOR EITHER 2ND OR THIRD SHIFT.

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A QUALITY / DETAIL-ORIENTED PERSON.

TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY.

QUALIFICATIONS
•HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED BACHELORS DEGREE PREFERRED.
•2 - 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SUPERVISORY POSITION IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
•DEMONSTRATES METHODICAL SKILLS
•DEMONSTRATES A COMMITMENT TO ETHICS
•EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN SKILLS
•FLEXIBILTY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT
•EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
•ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK.

WILL ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL EMPLOYEES AND CONTROLS OF THE SHIFT;
•SUPERVISE THE WORK OF OTHERS
•CONTROL COST OF LABOR & UTILITIES
•TAKE OWNERSHIP OF BOTTLES PRODUCED COMPARED TO COST
•SERVE AS THE LINK BETWEEN SUBORDINATES AND MANAGEMENT OR OTHER SUPPORT DEPARTMENTS.
•DEMONSTRATE AND SET THE PERFORMANCE STANDARD FOR EACH TEAM MEMBERS' POSITION
•NEW TEAM MEMBER DEVELOPMENT AND DOCUMENTATION

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•SAFETY AND TRACEABILITY OF EMPLOYEES
•START-UP AND SHUT DOWN OF EQUIPMENT AND FACILITY
•CLEAN WORK AREA AND ENVIRONMENT
•WORK WITH OTHERS ON THE SHIFT TO PROVIDE NECESSARY TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND TEAM MEMBERS
•COMMUNICATE DAILY OBJECTIVES AND RECORD OUTPUT
•MONITOR QUALITY OF OUTPUT AND MINIMIZE SCRAP
•INSTRUCT ON HEALTH AND SAFETY AND COMPANY POLICY
•PROVIDE MOTIVATION TO ALL TEAM MEMBERS, GIVE DIRECTION, DISCUSS GOALS, ACKNOWLDEGE HARD WORK, APPRECIATE JOBS WELL DONE

WILL ALSO BE ASKED TO:
•ASSURE COMPANY STANDARDS ARE BEING PROVIDED, USED AND RESPECTED.
•UNDERSTAND THE SHORTCOMINGS OF PERSONNEL AND PROVIDE GUIDANCE, COACHING, OR CHANGE POSITIONS
•PROVIDE SUGGESTED TRAINING TO MANAGER FOR INDIVIDUALS MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR HIRING OR DISMISSAL OF PERSONNEL.
