TRC Staffing Services has partnered with one of the leading employer benefits communication companies & we are actively seeking customer service professionals to work in their Employee Benefit Resource Center. Working in a call center, the Benefit Specialist assists employees with their new hire benefit enrollment, benefits Q&A, and technical support. The primary function of this role is to provide white glove customer support via phone and email to the employees of our client's clients. Our client is looking to add people to their team who pride themselves in providing A+ customer service.

Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Hours vary from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Eastern

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enroll employees directly into their benefits via the phone for self-service assistance
  • Works with employees to schedule appointments for new hire services (with a licensed benefits counselor)
  • Deliver technical support to employees including but not limited to system password resets
  • Document client interaction & activities in system; follow up on issues to ensure appropriate resolutions
  • Navigate multiple computer applications while serving the client/customer

Prior Experience Desired:

  • 1+ years of inbound/outbound contact center experience preferred
  • 2+ years of benefits related experience preferred, 6+ months required
  • Ability to handle high volume inbound calls under pressure with constant focus on exceptional customer service & attention to detail
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
